Kokopelli Relay

CANCELLED FOR 2024

We’ve had a great run!

Thanks to you and the amazing cycling community, the Kokopelli Relay has enjoyed several years of incomparable scenery, challenging terrain, high-level competition and unforgettable memories. After an arduous and honest assessment, we have decided to retire the Kokopelli Relay for 2024 and beyond. We are sad to see it go, especially after pouring so much of our hearts, energy and efforts into this event to make it unlike any other in the world. If anyone were interested in assuming the reigns, we would love to entertain that conversation.

Please understand that we did not approach our decision lightly. We understand the implications of this decision and apologize for throwing a wrench in your training and event-participation dynamics.

We will issue immediate refunds for all 2024 registrations. If you had any special circumstances such as a deferral, please reach out to us and we will be happy to work something out with the Salt To Saint Relay. In fact, we invite all teams to consider the Salt To Saint in September, 2024, as a replacement.
We wish you the greatest of successes and hope you will forever look back on your Kokopelli adventures with fondness and appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us.

Our warmest regards,

Who/What is a Kokopelli?

There are many interpretations of who/what Kokopelli is…for us, he represents what we love best about Southern Utah. Native Americans venerated him as a god of abundance and good spirits. You may have seen his image (often hump-backed, playing a flute) in and around Moab and St.George. Whatever others may think of him, to us he symbolizes joy, freedom, goodwill, and mettle; all characteristics you will experience at the Kokopelli Relay!
